Inforpress celebrates its 12 years in Portugal

Inforpress Group is celebrating 12 years of business in Portugal, including diverse activities such as a special conference on lobbying and public affairs.  This event is organised in collaboration with the Commercial Association of Lisbon (ACL), the initiative “Global Europe: Brussels Centre of Decision” counted on the presence of important speakers and specialists, and attracted about 100 guests. The speakers at the event were: the Inforpress Group Country Manager, Ana Margarida Ximenes; the MEP and Vice President of the European People’s Party (EPP); the Head of Unit, Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission, Luís Filipe Girãor; and CEO of the international public affairs agency, Interel and former Vice President of the European Public Affairs Consulting Association, Jean Leopold Schuybroek.

The main objective of the conference was to show Portuguese employers and agents the impact of decisions taken in Brussels and teach them how the European institutions work.  During the event some examples of best international practices in lobby and public affairs in the European context were presented.

In this context, Ana Margarida Ximenes remembered that Inforpress Group launched a year ago its own division of lobby and public affairs, Agenda®, and  opened an office in Brussels practically at the same time. «The group keeps different projects in the area of public affairs and, until the moment, the clients which work with in this market are multinational companies», underlined the Inforpress Group Country Manager.
